The Israel Forum was founded with the goal of providing an open public space where people can come together to discuss the politics of Israel/Palestine. The Forum is comprised of people of all ages, Israelis and Americans, including students from NYU, Columbia University and other universities in the NYC area.

The Forum's most recent event, "What Happens Now? Israel And The Palestinians After Gaza, Sharon, And Hamas " took place Thursday, March 9 at New York University. The discussion, attended by 400 people, brought together three distinguished speakers — Gidon Levy, Christopher Hitchens and Elias Khouri.
